LOCATION Lawrence County, Tennessee is centrally located in the eastern part of the United States. With major highways north-south and east-west, the county is well positioned placing manufactures within a day's drive of most customers. Industry has prospered here over the years due to location, low operating costs and the solid work ethic of our people.
Lawrence County is located in southern middle Tennessee, has a total land mass of 634 square miles and an average elevation of 836 feet above sea level. The state's capital city, Nashville, is located 75 miles to the northeast and Florence, Alabama, the nearest metropolitan center, is located 40 miles to the south.

BUSINESS PARKS
North Lawrence Business Park The North Lawrence Business Park includes a total of 112 acres and is located on a four-lane U.S. highway in the northern portion of the City of Lawrenceburg. The park is 75 miles south of Nashville and the Nashville International Airport with four-lane access the entire way. Tennessee Southern Railroad provides rail access on the east side of the property. Utilities are provided by the Lawrenceburg Utility Systems an affiliate of the Tennessee Valley Authority including, electric, gas, water, and sewer.
Loretto Industrial Park The Loretto Industrial Park consists of 25 acres and is located in southern Lawrence County. The Park is 85 miles south of Nashville and 25 miles north of Florence, Alabama. The property is visible from Highway 43, a four lane U.S. Highway. The site is adjacent to Tennessee Southern Railroad on the east, a CSX feeder line. The property is served by Lawrenceburg Utilities System an affiliate of Tennessee Valley Authority for electricity. The City of Loretto provides other utilities, including gas, water, and sewer. There is a 300 thousand gallon water tank in the Industrial Park with 10 inch lines by the property.
St. Joseph Industrial Park The St. Joseph Industrial Park includes 14.22 acres on U.S. Highway 43. The site is located 90 miles south of Nashville on the Tennessee/Alabama border.

AIR TRANSPORTATION
The Lawrenceburg/Lawrence County Airport is located four miles east of the city of Lawrenceburg. It has a 5003-foot runway, asphalt surface and MIRL/PAPI lighting. The Airport offers major repair and 100LL/Jet A fuel. The amenities and services include a comfortable lobby, T-hangers and rental car.
The nearest commercial air service is located 75 miles north in Nashville and 80 miles south in Huntsville, Alabama.

HIGHWAYS
U.S Highways 43 and 64 intersect north-south and east-west in Lawrenceburg. U.S. 43 is four-lane from the north at Saturn Parkway (I-65) south to the Alabama state line. U.S. 64 is mostly four-lane from Memphis to Chattanooga . Interstate 65 is fifty miles north and twenty nine miles east of Lawrenceburg.

RAIL SERVICE
Tennessee Southern Railroad owned by Patriot Rail Corporation, is a 118 mile short line that operates through Lawrence, Giles and Maury Counties in Tennessee and Lauderdale County in Alabama. TSRR has a reliable interchange relationship with CSX Transportation and is a multi-modal transportation company that effectively utilizes rail, trucks, and river barges in its’ day to day operation of their transload facility at the Port of Florence on the Tennessee River in Florence Alabama.

NAVIGABLE WATERWAYS
The Port of Florence, located 40 miles south of Lawrenceburg and 40 miles north of the Tennessee-Tombigee Waterway, is strategically located on the Tennessee River’s Pickwick Lake in a protected harbor less than three miles from Wilson Lock, and with immediate access to the main channel. The Port of Florence offers year-around access to the Port of Mobile and the Gulf of Mexico. The Port of Florence is an intermodal transportation facility bringing river, rail and highways together to serve Lawrence County.

County Government Lawrence County Administrative Center Lawrence County has four incorporated cities and a number of unincorporated communities. Only the incorporated cities have governments consisting of elected mayors, commissioners, city council members or aldermen, with each serving four-year terms.

Lawrenceburg City Administration The governing body is the Board of Mayor and City Council Members. The Mayor and four City Council Members serve four-year terms. Half are elected every two years from individual districts. The city also has a non-elected city manager, who answers directly to the Mayor and the City Council Members.

Housing Development Lawrenceburg Housing Authority is low income government assisted housing with 303 units. Tenants pay no more than 30% of the total household gross income which is set by government published income levels. There is a cap of $40l.00 on 4 bedroom units.
Healthcare Services Crockett Hospital offers many services to the community such as: Community Support Programs and Patient Education, Rehabilitative Services, Women’s Health Center, Emergency Services, Surgical Services, Acute Care Services, Intensive Care, Diagnostic Imaging, and Cardiopulmonary Services. Crockett Hospital has 23 staff physicians and 75 courtesy and consulting staff which include 15 Cardiologist with full cardiology coverage from Vanderbilt University Hospital, St. Thomas Hospital and Maury Regional Hospital. The hospital also has an outpatient lab in Lawrenceburg and Loretto. The Community has 4 Urgent Care Clinics, 3 Outpatient Physical Therapy facilities, 4 Chiropractors, 10 Dentist, 1 Orthodontist, and 7 Optometrists.
