ANNUAL FESTIVALS & EVENTS IN LAWRENCE COUNTY
CAVALCADE OF ANTIQUE CARS The annual event hosts a number of antique cars that parade down US Highway 43 showing off well kept cars dating back in time. Visit the calendar for more information.

CHRISTMAS POPS Annual Christmas musical performance by the Lawrence County Oratorical Society, local choirs and professional artists. The event is held on the first Monday evening in December at the Historic Crockett Theater.
Held the last Saturday of each month April through October on the Lawrenceburg Public Square. Arts, crafts, music, fresh produce, and great food.
HISTORIC CROCKETT THEATER Periodic concerts and performances that range from country music and gospel artists to the Nashville Symphony Orchestra.
CROSSROADS OF DIXIE ANTIQUE TRACTOR & ENGINE SHOW
The Annual Crossroads of Dixie Antique Tractor & Engine Show is held at the Rotary Park in Lawrenceburg. People from all over the country travel here in August for the show. Hundreds of antique tractors, engines, and farm equipment are on display along with music, food and other entertainment
DAVID CROCKETT DAYS Lawrenceburg is the home of David Crockett. To honor this American Icon, the county hosts the annual event at the David Crockett State Park that takes you back to the 18th Century. This is a fun event that requires its participants to dress and act as our forefathers did in those bygone days. Several programs, events, and entertainment are held throughout the 3-day festival in August.
LAWRENCEBURG HERITAGE FESTIVAL Free family fun that includes a children's carnival, musical entertainment, and a variety of food and arts vendors.
JAMES D VAUGHAN FESTIVAL This annual event is held at the Historic Crockett Theater. Gospel Music fans enjoy two fabulous nights of quartet singing featuring the best groups the industry has to offer.
FOURTH OF JULY CELEBRATION Annual fireworks show sponsored by the City of Lawrenceburg and Lawrence County Government is held at the L.C.H.S. Hendrix-Staggs Stadium located at 1500 Springer Road.
MIDDLE TENNESSEE DISTRICT FAIR Lawrenceburg is the host of the annual Middle Tennessee District Fair. The award winning fair includes demolition derbies, motorcycle races, tractor pulls, music, food, and many other exciting events.
MT. ZION SUGAR CREEK FESTIVAL Civil War re-enactment/dedication ceremony and the living history dedication with entertainment for all ages including music, food, arts & crafts, and much more.
Annual week-long event held in Loretto, TN to celebrate its distinct German heritage. Highlights include mass, German Dinner,great music, an art show and auction, a family fun day with rides, a 5K run and a weenie dog race, Highway 101 48 mile-long yard sale, the Miss Oktoberfest Pageant and Burgermeister of The Year.
SUMMERTOWN BLUEGRASS REUNION A semi-annual Bluegrass Music Festival held in Summertown twice a year, spring and fall. The event hosts a number of bluegrass performers along with food and other entertainment.
TN STATE BBQ CHAMPIONSHIP & AMATEUR TAILGATE COOK-OFF The annual event is held at the Lawrenceburg Rotary Park and hosts some of the best BBQ cooks from around the country competing for cash and prizes along with bragging rights. LAWRENCE COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE CHRISTMAS PARADE The annual event is held on the first Saturday evening in December beginning with the City of Lawrenceburg’s Tree Lighting Ceremony to kick-off the parade at 5:00pm. The Parade begins at North Military Avenue and First Street, then travels around the Lawrenceburg Public Square and back north on U.S. Highway 43. With over ninety entries including floats, bands, antique cars, tractors, youth groups and of course Santa, the Parade is one of the largest in southern middle Tennessee.
