There is a general hospital with a level one trauma center, several stand-alone emergency medical clinics, group and individual general practice and specialty physicians and dentists. Additionally the county is within easy reach of world-class medical facilities in Nashville, as well as a number of excellent regional facilities.
CROCKETT HOSPITAL
Crockett Hospital is a 99 bed acute care facility with over 75 doctors providing services which include Anesthesiology, Allergy & Immunology, Cardiology, Dermatology, Family Practice, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Gynecology, Internal Medicine, Nephrology, Neurology, Obstetrics, Orthopaedic Surgery, Otolaryngology (ENT), Pathology, Pediatrics, Pediatric Dentistry, Podiatry, Psychiatry, Pulmonology, Radiology, and Urology. Crockett has been providing the best in healthcare to Lawrence County and surrounding counties in Southern Middle Tennessee since 1974.
In 1991, the hospital expanded its facility and services with the addition of the Outpatient Surgery Unit, updated Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit. In 1997, the hospital opened the Physical Rehabilitation Unit. The Women’s Health Center was opened in 1999. A $5.6 million expansion and renovation of the Emergency and Registration Departments was begun in the Spring of 2008. This renovation doubled the size of the Emergency Department, increased the size of the Outpatient Surgery Unit, and consolidated the Admission and Registration areas. The result of this project, completed in the late Spring 2009, was a state-of-the-art, spacious new Emergency Room and Registration Department.

ELIZA COFFEE MEMORIAL HOSPITAL
Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital was established in 1919 by Coffee Health Group - a non-profit health care system in Alabama. It is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations, and is named after Eliza, the daughter of Captain Alexander and Camilla Coffee.
This medical facility serves the people in north-west Alabama, southern Tennessee and north-east Mississippi, and it holds north-west Alabama’s only full service cardiac program. Pulmonary, oncology, ambulatory and endoscopy and open heart surgery unit are the major department of services functioning there.
In addition, physician lecture series, immunization programs, community health fairs and health screenings are organized in accompany with local community.
VANDERBILT UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER
This twin-towered building with over 600 beds is supported by the most up-to-date systems and technology. The hospital is designed to provide each patient with an outside view. Each floor of the towers holds a nursing core so that patient rooms are close to nursing stations. The hospital is supported by respected, research-based medical and nursing schools, and delivers both routine inpatient care and highly specialized medical treatment and surgical procedures. The hospital is home to the region's only Level I Trauma Center as well as the region's only Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Three walk-in or by appointment stand-alone emergency care, as well as general health care clinics have offices in Lawrence County.

The Lawrence County Health Department, located on Buffalo Road, offers a wide variety of health services, information and training for citizens of Lawrence County. Clinic services are provided primarily to individuals eligible for TennCare health coverage.
